I am a minister, 60 years old. I have been reading your books. Your series on the Ring about the early settlement of America is absolutely awesome. I love your insights about the "church" and the gospel. Even the Puritan church was so caught up in themselves. Thanks for being so clear about the value of each individual life, about coming to that person where they are and expecting nothing from them but hoping that they will hear. I also love your characters and how you make the men strong believers and the children growing in grace. I am presently reading Rehoboth. I see how even Daniel has gotten away from the heart of his father Fallon, even though he still is committed to God fully. It is a word of challenge and encouragement to all of us. I can't say enough about the messages of the books. Thanks for writing. You give me hope!

I just wanted to let you know how much I LOVE your books!! I just finished "She Always Wore Read" and feel like I am so connected to the characters. I am so excited for the 3rd book!! It seems as if every time I read one of your books, it not only touches my heart, but it's as if God needed me to read it in order to learn something that He's been trying to tell me. I've been struggling with making some difficult decisions lately and trusting God to answer my prayers, but I learned a lot from reading the Fairlawn series. I also thought Uncharted was absolutely amazing. It took me two times to read it to really understand it, but I loved it. It made me think and was the topic of many conversations between God and I. :) Thank you for what you do... you speak God's word in such an amazing way and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to read your work. God Bless!

A few months ago I was standing in front of the library bookshelf and felt a surge of excitement when I spied a new spine with the "Hunt" name. How did one appear without me waiting, expecting and even warning the librarians that it would be in print soon? I didn't even fill out the usual little form requesting they buy it for the library (uh..me) asap! Then I looked at the cover of Doesn't She Look Natural? and thought, "What?" I was put off by the cover...the name...the subject matter. I took a deep breath and repeated in a whisper, "Expect the unexpected" and took it home to read. Well, you know I loved it. In fact, by the last chapter I was calling my best freind and saying, "You know...maybe one day you and I should run a mortuary. I think I'd be good at it..." ha!
So when I saw She Always Wore Red on the new-books shelf, I was thrilled. Life has been quite stressful and full the last week or so and I was especially happy to have a good read to get me through. I could easily detach from reality in the pages of your book: as with all your books, it delivered a good story. About half way through, though, I went from thinking it a "good read" to thinking it an "important read". Wow. I am always so amazed at how skillfully you weave a story around deep thoughts...or, maybe, weave deep thoughts around a story.
All right, enough already! But thanks again, Angela Hunt. You are an amazing writer...continue in your calling. Please don't stop! We love 'em.
